The Finance Associate Analyst is required to demonstrate a great sense of ownership, pro-activeness, and accountability towards the responsibilities within the role. They will perform accurate accounting and provide several types of reporting and analytics related to Trade Spend and/or Accounts Receivable. They must be able to manage complexity, effective prioritization of tasks. They must simplify the agenda for direct reports while coaching effectively to develop areas of opportunity. They will support process improvements and project implementations. The role requires effective communication skills, effective relationship building and a collaborative working style.

- Publish weekly topline reporting including AR aging, Deduction, TBG, PES etc.
- Create Invoice aging reporting for collectors and identify risk / focus areas.
- Oversee and approve customer payment processes working closely with the teams to execute timely and accurately.
- Manage direct reports by confirming tasks and deliverable are completed timely and accurately.
- Lead the development of direct reports through effective execution of manager quality actions: regular 1W1, Mid-Year reviews, people planning, leadership and coaching.
- Analyze reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support decision making.
- Work closely with Trade Spend and Dispute teams to streamline processes and highlight executional gaps.
- Support period-end close procedures including creating and distributing reports.
- Review and approve all period end journal entries and GL reconciliations.
- Support transformation projects as required.
- Support implementation and stabilization of SAP by partnering with the PGT and Nexus teams
- Support development of new reports and analytics as required.
- Support all aspects of Global Control Standards including adherence to PepsiCo’s policies, values, and code of conduct.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or Finance with 5 years of working experience
- Excellent people management capabilities
- Excellent analytical and modeling skills – knowledge of ERT, SAP, Power Query, Power BI is an asset.
- Strong customer service, communication, and collaborative skills
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in Trade Spend / Accounts Receivable are preferred.
