We are looking for an Indirect Category Procurement Assistant Manager to join our Global Procurement team based in Istanbul and will directly report to Turkey Indirect Procurement Business Integration Lead.

Responsibilities• Leading FTEs(2) in RFX & contracting roles under the S2C (Sourcing to Contracting) ICC(India Capability Center) which is the Functional Lead of that process • Fulfill the responsibilities as written in the "Roles and Responsibilities" of the S2C team and to be alligned with the S2C Management team • Support the team in the RFX and Contracting stages of the tenders managed by the S2C team in medium and easy scopes and to provide stakeholder allignments and supplier sharing of the works • Develop GP value by managing competitive events, streamlining to achieve best value agreements in Complex category.• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies and demand management policies that optimize PepsiCo’s external supplier spend (including tools, processes, supply relationships) across Turkey. Key measure is productivity target of about 5% on spend base.• Develop and implement Turkey local category strategies in own spend scope, which shows full local market analysis, consolidation exercise and benchmarking review with Europe where appropriate.• Responsible for team performance and contribute team in daily operations • Constantly liaising with the India office (ICC- S2C) to improve team performance and source processes and integrating new applications in Turkey, • Work closely with PepsiCo EU Sr Category Managers to ensure deep understanding of business needs, suppliers market, key cost drivers, industry trends and best practices, and use them to build competitive advantage / maximum business value from the category under responsibility• Ensure %100 Monthly Contracts ontime• Track team SLA/KPI’s • Deliver 5% pa benefits from the Category spend• Manage the IT& HR Services& Professional Services&Fleet&Travel and Events total cost of ownership initiatives and building sustainable supplier partnership relationships in Turkey• Work closely with PepsiCo EU Sr Category Managers to ensure deep understanding of business needs, suppliers market, key cost drivers, industry trends and best practices, and use them to build competitive advantage / maximum business value from the category under responsibility• As part of responsibilities he/she will build category expertise, develop purchasing strategies using 7 step sourcing process, ensure market intelligence and align purchasing strategies with business strategies and priorities. The role will closely support the category sourcing team to deliver the short and long term productivity pipeline for the European businesses. • Lead categories priorities aligned with business priorities/strategies in Europe. Leverage commercial savvy and contribute actively to achievement of business objectives.• Develop Middle Term and Long Term productivity pipeline while continiously delivering against stretched short term objectives through total cost of ownership approach.• Implement Supplier Relationship Management, implement suppliers evaluation processes and integrate quality/ service / innovation / sustainability KPIs for Turkey in his own spend category.• Apply Global Control Standards in the processes under his/her accountability, comply with GP Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated, and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls.• Develop and share best practices via effective networking in Europe and globally.• Draw up cost and price forecasts, manage and monitor purchasing performance in accordance with PepsiCo policies and guidelines.• Day to Day management of the demands from the key stakeholders requiring operational support daily.• It is essential that the buyer has excellent communication with his/her internal customers to ensure that he is fully aware of current & future requirements and that all parties are aligned to objectives and performance.• Up-to-date Procurement Knowledge of all Procurement processes, policies, categories & suppliers
Qualifications• University graduate (related Business/Engineering degree)• Fluent in Turkish and English • At least 5-7 years of Purchasing experience• Team coaching skills• Procurement and analytical background• Good interpersonal skills (needs to be able to build relationships with suppliers / stakeholders on a regular basis)• ERP (SAP / ARIBA) experience• Good IT (procurement) skills. PC (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point)• Problem solving skills• Good communication/negotiation skills.• Analytical problem solving skills• Comfortable working within complex matrix organization• Able to travel to market locations• Experience with large-scale organizational change effort• Multi cultural work experience/ Experience in managing local and international networking • Ability to work with, communicate with, and influence individuals from varying groups and levels.• Capacity to build trustful relationship in all levels of organization
