ResponsibilitiesThe Opportunity
PepsiCo has deployed the SAP/Ariba Procurement functionality to support the acquisition of indirects goods and services in PFNA, PBNA, Gatorde, Quaker, and Corporate. The tool is branded myBUY and used by 10.000+ end users across 50+ countries, with a central team supporting the PR2PO (Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order) process. The Tactical Buy function is part of PepsiCo’s integrated procurement process.
- The CD Buyer is responsible for executing local negotiations, which may include creating rate cards by analyzing current spend in the assigned region. This role also involves following up on end user and supplier queries, developing strategies to deliver savings, and improving communication around those strategies.
- Execute standardized tactical buying processes, use of appropriate tactical buy tools and negotiations.
- Identify potential vendors and obtain quotes , rate cards or long term negotiations as needed according to the company’s policy.
- Achieve targets and maintain the appropriate control environment to secure quality and service standards.
- Use tactical buy system (myBUY) to process requests and to increase adoption.
- Improve purchasing process, considering procurement policies.
- Support to deliver on Continuous Improvement agenda and myBUY automation target.
- Support the Demand Generation activities in driving spend into the pipeline.
- The Tactical Buyer will be part of a team of senior buyers (7 people)
- The functionholder is covering for every indirect goods and services.
Your Impact
As Global Proc Analyst your responsibilities would consist of:
- Create local negotiations, rate cards, catalogs to support the PO Processing agility across various categories.
- Follow up on supplier queries and provide visibility on PO status using MyBuy.
- Identify and propose opportunities to automate, deliver savings and streamline business processes.
- Lead training sessions and knowledge-sharing meetings for category users.
- Support and contribute to additional projects aimed at improving SAP-related processes.
- Ensure data quality for the assigned region by reviewing and validating reports, savings, and dashboards in Power BI.
- Participate in periodic meetings with internal users and stakeholders.
- Prepare and review inputs for weekly Operations Calls and follow up on action plans.
- Ensure accurate tracking and maintenance of reports.
- Provide timely responses to requests from management, demand managers, and other stakeholders, adhering to established deadlines.
