We have a permanent opportunity for an Inventory Controller to join our Supply Chain team in Wiri. This role will support the Inventory Manager in optimizing inventory accuracy, minimizing variances and write-offs, managing returns and maintaining inventory KPIs across key distribution centers.
ResponsibilitiesChampion workplace health, safety and wellbeing in line with company values and policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals with a strong focus on accurate inventory management and compliance with global standards
Plan, execute and reconcile regular and annual inventory counts across finished goods centers, raw material warehouses, off-site storage and contract partners
Investigate and resolve stock variances, customer returns and ageing inventory while ensuring accurate stock adjustments and reporting
Maintain and troubleshoot inventory systems, support product and material setup and ensure data accuracy across all warehouse operations
Drive process improvements, cost-saving initiatives and ensure compliance with quality, disposal and reporting requirements for inventory control
Tertiary qualification, preferably in Finance or Supply Chain
3 to 5 years of experience in logistics
Stock Picker License
Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and enterprise systems
Proficient in SAP inventory and warehouse modules or similar systems
Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with excellent communication and customer-facing skills
