ResponsibilitiesThe OpportunityWe are looking for a strategic and analytical Route Planner to join our Route Intelligence Center. In this role, you will play a key part in driving volume growth and optimizing service costs by designing efficient, data-driven routing solutions. You will collaborate across teams to translate business needs into route engineering strategies that perform effectively in the field.
This position involves working closely with regional teams, project managers, and fellow route engineers to ensure each solution is tailored, tested, and refined for optimal impact. You will be a core contributor to our mission of continuous improvement and operational excellence in route design.
What You’ll DoAs a Route Planner, your responsibilities will include:
Designing and implementing route engineering solutions using specialized software, based on requests from business units and guided by Route Design Managers.
Applying best-in-class routing methodology and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
Adjusting route designs based on performance insights and feedback from field operations, in coordination with the Project and Change Management teams.
Collaborating with the Service Request Coordinator to ensure alignment and clarity on project requirements.
Supporting the ongoing development and implementation of our strategic routing improvement plan.
Monitoring performance metrics and delivering follow-up reports to evaluate solution effectiveness.
Ensuring all solutions are delivered within the agreed project timelines and service level commitments.
Coordinating with fellow route engineers to share knowledge and resolve technical challenges as needed.
Who We’re Looking For
We seek a proactive, detail-oriented professional who brings both technical expertise and business insight. The ideal candidate will have:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of operational performance drivers.
Proficiency in route planning platforms and tools such as Territory Planner, as well as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other database or mapping software.
The ability to design, analyze, and refine processes using performance data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across functions.
A results-driven mindset with strong planning, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience training or onboarding new team members is a plus.
