Role purpose:
Deliver and provide operational agenda in supply planning processes including short- , mid-, long-term horizon to ensure the products availability, inventory turnover and delivery appropriate service level to the customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead supply planning optimization through uninterrupted supply planning processes, deliver high service level to clients and forecast accuracy increasing in collaboration with demand planning team
- Coordinate supply planning processes for short-, mid-, long- term horizons to suppliers of finished goods, responsible for ensuring supply plan and supply risk assessment
- Regularly ensure identifying gaps and root cause analysis to develop counter measures, implement them and monitor results upon that. If necessary ensure the escalation of issues within and cross functions.
- Ensure weekly Supply Review process: unconstrained supply forecast is aligned with supply ability, risks and opportunities is provided and reviewed
- Cross-functional communication with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Trade marketing, Supply Chain, Global Procurement, Production teams
- Monitor and Control the processes of New Product Development launches from supply planning perspective
- Accountable for appropriate managing and improving inventory turnover (incl. RM, FG)
- Cross-functional involvement and project leading to deliver business effectiveness and cost optimization, implementation of system tools to increase supply planning processes effectiveness
- Ensure that customer/distributor action plans are linked to supply planning and demand planning is involved in initiatives to optimize stock availability.
- Provide a continuous capability improvement plan for the Supply planning team, increasing supply planning team efficiency and proper people planning and team work environment
Candidate profile:
- Higher education in business related field preferably
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain / planning
- Good knowledge & understanding of the End-to-End systems & processes.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to interrogate data and produce detailed outputs.
- Strong communication / facilitation skills to build and sustain a wide range of working relationships across multiple functions/sites,
- Agile approach to achieve the collective aims.
- Fluent in Georgian and English.
