ResponsibilitiesThe Opportunity
As a LATAM Enterprise Test Lead you will engage and support different project teams and guide them through the different testing activities, deliverables, and overall governance for the projects, helping them create the right test strategy, partnering and offering the viable services that can be provided to guarantee a successful quality product deployment, by enabling consistent, cost effective, high quality targeted testing processes and capabilities.
Your Impact
As LATAM Enterprise Test Lead your scope would consist of
The role will lead other ETS members assigned to projects, sharing best practices, standards, and guidelines to follow. Responsibilities include:
• Demand Management and Engagement for projects, including dashboard reviews for compliance validation, as well as attend sector leadership team meetings, forums and provide estimates for services• Provide Governance and support for testing deliverables and activities for ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to testing methodology and standards and drive common metrics to QA / Governance team.• Guide the teams on test assessment exercise, identification of different types of testing required for the project, for optimum test coverage and definition of The Test Strategy.• Create and align the communication plan for testing, setting cadence and participants.• Ensure both functional and non-functional requirements are properly identified, documented, and matched against test matrix for each project.• Plan and manage test resources (external / internal) to provide required training/mentoring/education for Test Managers, ETS Members and other test resources to ensure adherence to testing methodology and PepsiCo standards.• Aid Test Managers and team on the validation for testing readiness until entry criteria is met to start execution (devices, data, environment readiness, roles, etc.)• Helps Test Managers and team to ensure no blockers stop the testing team to execute as planned and facilitate triage sessions and follow up on defect closure.• Provides support on issues or risks identified by Test team during any stage of the project to avoid escalation and guides them for resolution and ensure testing deliverables are being produced on plan and signoff those deliverables after reviewing and validating completeness and compliance.• Deliver Test Execution / Management as needed, providing defect metrics to QA such as defect severity, guidelines, and SLAs for defect-fix turnaround. • Support the different Test teams and Managers to understand the gathering, preparation and how to submit test progress/summary reports to communicate to the different project forums.• Procure the Test Summary Report and provide final approval.• Represent Voice of Customer to gather and report on sector needs and status for testing services provided• Develop Sector testing roadmaps / expansion strategy and coverage / quality metrics execution (by application / functional area, etc.)• Execute the Enterprise testing champ/challenger strategy for execution, driving value through testing delivery.
Other activities to be performed related to the ETS organization include:• Support the control and management of financial spend for LATAM (SOWs, cross-charges, Work orders, blankets) as well as income accounting from Governance charges to projects.• Provide prompt feedback on dashboard enhancement and proposal of new or updated dashboards/metrics• Support Governance processes and propose redefinitions or improvements to it• Vendor Management with Champion and Challenger to plan and manage test resources (external / internal) and on time assignment to projects• Governance of project deliverable (quality of deliverables and right strategy), set the standards
Qualifications¿Who Are We Looking For?
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.Proven track record of managing and leading testing teams.Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Skills:
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.Proficiency in test management tools.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong leadership and team management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level or equivalent.Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
PREFERRED SKILLS
