Solution Architect -Enterprise Contract Lifecycle Management

Overview

The Enterprise CLM Architect role is responsible for supporting Legal Domain EA in defining the global solution architecture for CLM and ensure organization aligns with enterprise standards and uses common solutions, defining the architecture for the CLM program. This role will adopt and champion PepsiCo Agile and Waterfall Model principles and best practices leading function solution and design with ongoing agile iterations. The CLM Solution Architect will work in close partnership with the CLM product manager/owners, PepsiCo Enterprise Architecture, SI architects and 3rd party software engineers in implementing solutions as part of Global CLM processes. The role will also work towards reducing IT costs and complexity and ensuring long term viability of the solution.

Responsibilities
  • Own CLM functional design and govern the process & solution for CLM Deployments
  • Support decision-making for functional and technical topics across multiple deployments for process & solution
  • Ensure the CLM solution integrity globally by closely monitoring solution configuration (design decisions, data impact analysis, process definition documents, and customization vs. configuration rational)
  • Actively lead, engage and educate business process owners, SMEs and leadership on functional and data design solutions and changes
  • Ensure re-use and lift & shift of CLM capabilities across deployments and future implementations
  • Lead and collaborate with scrum team implementers ensure user story values and acceptance criteria are met
  • Support onboarding, training, and solution governance with CLM DEVSECOPS team
  • Coach and collaborate with CLM team members on functional configuration and technical development
  • Adopt and adhere to Waterfall and then Agile principles and values
  • Work closely with delivery lead, and IT Director in building functional competency with DEVSECOPS team, and building functional bench within PepsiCo

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
  • Strong experience in end-to-end contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions in configuration, development, and implementation is required
  • Deep functional and solution knowledge of CLM technologies and how they integrate with other upstream and downstream tools
  • Functional and solution knowledge of CLM best practices, CLM AI-driven insights, document repositories, electronic signature capabilities, are preferred
  • Working knowledge of CLM tools, such as Ariba CLM, Icertis, Agilof, Conga, or similar tools are preferred
  • Familiarity with master data objects required to support all Contract Management processes
  • Previous solution architect and leadership role on a major transformation project is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, Master's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple 3rd parties and internal customers including technical and business colleagues across various cultures and time zones
  • Ability to communicate and articulate recommendations and decisions to IT and leadership
  • Proven ability to prioritize and delegate deliverables to a dotted line team of employees and contractors
  • Proven expertise solving highly complex problems within the work team, and with cross functional teams
  • Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments including technical teams, 3rd party contractors and internal leadership
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
  • Adaptability and flexibility including ability
